About Us
Husband & Wife. Owners First. Mentors Always.
We’re Brandon and Marie — a husband and wife team with over 35 years of combined experience in the shave ice industry.
What started as a simple seasonal stand has grown into something much bigger than we ever imagined. Fifteen years ago, Brandon began serving shave ice in the very same building he started in when he was just 8 years old in today in Sulphur Springs, Texas. Since then, we’ve built not only a storefront Sno Shack, but also expanded with a mobile unit — serving families, schools, businesses, and events across our community.
But the heart behind it all has never changed.
We believe running a shave ice business should feel rewarding — not chaotic. We believe systems matter. Margins matter. Leadership matters. And culture matters.
Most of all, people matter.
We are parents to six incredible kids — Lane, Brooklyn, Ryson, Mason, Braylee, and Britlee — and proud grandparents to Sawyer. Our four oldest children have all played a role in working inside our small family business. They’ve shaved ice, served customers, cleaned floors, handled rushes, and learned firsthand what it means to build something from the ground up.
Our business isn’t just a business — it’s been a training ground for our family.
For over a decade and a half, we’ve experienced the highs and the hard lessons of seasonal operations:
• Staffing challenges
• Payroll pressure
• Pricing mistakes
• Growth seasons
• Reinvention seasons
We didn’t just learn theory — we built real systems in a real stand with real customers.
Today, through our templates, training systems, and The Sno Shack Rescue resources, we help other shave ice owners avoid the costly mistakes we once made and build businesses that are structured, profitable, and sustainable.
We are passionate about high-quality Hawaiian Shave Ice.
We are passionate about strong operations.
And we are passionate about helping small business owners win.
If you’re here, you’re probably ready to build something better.
We’re honored to help you do it.
